2. Peer-to-Peer WebRTC Streams

When you are matched with an opponent, SmugGrid.com establishes a secure, peer-to-peer WebRTC connection. This connection routes live video and audio streams directly between you and your paired opponent's browser. While our Node.js signaling server facilitates the initial handshake exchange, it never acts as a proxy or records the media content transmitted during your 1v1 match.

3. Collected Data & Accounts

We restrict data collection to the absolute bare minimum required to maintain our gaming services:

• Temporary Nicknames: We store the nickname you input in the lobby to identify you during matches and on the real-time scoreboard.
• Session Tokens: Temporary socket IDs and signaling metadata are used to handle matchmaking queues and reconnect dropped players.
